Ariadne is a visual artist based in Athens, Greece, whose work is deeply influenced by her background in Archaeology and History of Art. Drawing inspiration from mythology, ancient civilizations, and the natural world, her practice explores the relationship between form, symbolism, and material.
Initially self-taught, she later pursued formal studies in visual communication, expanding her artistic language across different media, with painting as her primary focus.
Alongside her personal work, Ariadne has been teaching drawing and painting for almost a decade, guiding students of different levels through both technical development and creative expression.
She is also the founder of Dea Mater Designs, a jewellery brand that reflects her ongoing interest in craftsmanship and the dialogue between art and object.
